My Story
In 2008 I was diagnosed with breast cancer. through much prayer and holding on to my faith. I went through surgery and chemotherapy and radiation. This was a lot to deal with. I felt I needed something to help me to go through the Journey I was facing. I started doing Art it was therapy for me. When I started painting I found Beautiful worship music. However, amidst the darkness, I discovered through Prayer was my powerful source of solace and healing – art and music.
During my recovery, I found solace in listening to worship music. The uplifting melodies and heartfelt lyrics provided me with a sense of comfort and strength. The Worship became a companion during the long hours spent in hospitals and waiting rooms, and it infused me with a renewed sense of hope. The songs became a source of inspiration, reminding me that I was not alone in my struggles and that there was Jesus Christ was guiding me through the difficult times.
Simultaneously, I found an unexpected passion for painting. Exploring different artistic mediums allowed me to express my emotions and release the pent-up feelings that accompanied my battle with cancer. Through the strokes of a brush and the mixing of colors, I found a therapeutic outlet that enabled me to escape from the pain and momentarily immerse myself in a world of creativity and imagination.
